Many anti-cannabis activists have been saying for years that heavy cannabis use can alter how the brain functions, killing much-needed brain cells. The study was focused on white brain matter, the result of the study showed that daily cannabis users and non-cannabis users didn’t differ at all. The unanticipated findings indicated that cannabis did affect the material order of the human brain.
Note: The study was done with adults 18 to 25, the most important part is that adolescents could still be vulnerable to cannabis’ in brain development.
